My Global Action Plan: Aids in Africa

My plan was to inform the local community of the issue of AIDS/HIV especially in the country of Africa.

It is very important that we help because these people are in need. They don't have the economic resources to provide medicine to help treat there illness. So as a country who is lucky enough to be provided with those resources we should do our best to get involved and help solve the issue.

I choose this to be my global action plan because every year 3 million people die from AIDS. In 2002, the global fund has committed over $5.2 million to life saving programs in 131 countries and accounts for a quarter of the world’s funding for AIDS programs in the developing world. AIDS is the leading cause of deaths in Africa.
